things i am obsessing over right now

There are a few things I am practically obsessed with lately.

My cat Mystique

She always looks grumpy in photos because she doesn't like the flash. I have about a million photos of us together. She is my love. I have finally understood how to be completely responsible. She is teaching me patience. She is also teaching me compassion. And then we have cuddle time and I forget the rest of the world even exists. I love Enzo as well, the other cat that we got from the shelter, he is Jocelyn's kitty.

He is also black, and I guess until you spend some time with them, it's hard to tell them apart because they are about the same size, age and color of fur. But looking at them closer they are very different. Enzo is more brown, his fur is not silky but more puffy, his eyes are very different, he has a completely different personality. He is a climber, she is a jumper. She is elegant, he is goofy. They are basically polar opposites. And I love them both.

Other things I am obsessed with:

Cooking delicious food and devouring it afterwards.

Vegetarianism and Veganism and healthy eating.

Crystal Castles (surprised? I wouldn't be if you know me well)

Sylvia Plath. At the moment I am reading her diaries and her letters home at the same time, kind of trying to compare the two. It's very interesting!! She was a very troubled woman, and I love her for it.

Making huge paintings

Prints (though I am a little tired of doing clean-up non-stop and washing my hands a thousand times)
